Hypertext has first 2 industrial co-sponsors

I've just got word that Hypertext has its first 2 industrial co-sponsors for the conference, Vivisimo and Eastgate. Vivisimo does enterprise search while Eastgate does hypertext tools and software for creating hypertext and literary writing. Eastgate has always been an industrial co-sponsor of Hypertext, led by its chief scientist, Mark Bernstein.

First invited speaker at HT08 announced

The first invited speaker for addressing a keynote at Hypertext 2008 will be Bernardo Huberman from HP Labs. More details on the title and abstract of the keynote will be posted here as they come.

Full and short papers extended

For all those that are rushing to get papers submitted for Hypertext 2008, the papers deadline for full and short papers has been extended until Friday February 15, 2008 11:59 pm Hawaii time. That gives quite a bit more time to finish the data analysis and writing the paper!
